  1. UPGRADE POLICIES FOR HP 3000 NETWORK PRODUCTS
  2.  
  3. When customers upgrade a system, they must upgrade the network
  4. products on that system.
  5.  
  6. Outlined below is the policy for upgrading network products when
  7. customers are;
  8.  
  9.       1) Exchanging one system for another (summarized in a matrix)
  10.       2) Exchanging multiple systems for one system
  11.       3) Exchanging one system for multiple systems
  12.       4) Upgrading network links and new hardware is needed
  13.  
  14. 1) EXCHANGING ONE SYSTEM FOR ANOTHER
  15.    Network Services Products are software products. Network Link
  16.    Products are typically hardware and software products.
  17.
